P156B A Life Sentence Lion Print Oak Frame

This is an exceptional piece of craftsmanship and art. Enclosed in this 49 1/2" x 45 3/4" frame which has large wooden hinges and iron padlocks and a 5 1/2" at the deepest point convex wooden bars which resemble a cage locking in the lion which is depicted in the well known print titled, 'A Life Sentence'. The print it's self is a large 38" x 27" and makes a very impressive statement in it's self not to mention the detailed and impressive wooden frame around this large print. Print and frame are in original condition. This is the largest example that we have ever had, and we are thrilled to be able to offer it to you. This was made by The Shop ot the Crafters at Cincinnati. This is a great example Oscar Onken works made at the turn of the century (1900). - SOLD
