This is a very unusual and rare oak bookcase unit that can be displayed in a number of options because each unit is finished on all sides. Each bookcase is made up of four units all the same total height of 67″ Height. All the doors have beveled glass panels and each bookcase has a drawer at the base with matching cast brass handles. One of the corner units is what I refer to as a 1/2 size and a regular or standard size of bookcases that measure 34″ width. (the photo shows how the corner units are made and held together.) There is a 3/4 size unit that is not part of the corner section and the other unit with this set is of standard width and you have the option the drop front desk can be added to either unit. This bookcase is made by Gunn Furniture Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When all the bookcases are together they measure 53″ to the corner and 63″ to the corner, they are 12″ depth and 67″ Height. Circa 1900.
