Antique Green Gas or Oil Can with Cast Iron Lid Davis Welding Company

Excellent all original old green paint on this ribbed tall metal  gas or oil can which is capped with a cast iron lid that reads in embossed lettering, ‘The Davis Welding Mfg. Company – Cincinnati, Ohio’. There is also a brass attached label that reads, ‘5 Gallons to Lip of Marker Inside’. This can measures 23″ high and is 10 1/4″ diameter. There is a patent date of 1920 on this can.
