Beautiful Mahogany Drop front Desk in very good condition. This desk as a gallery on the top that has fine brass turnings holding the mahogany rail. The drop front lid has a carved shell design with leaves. Original brass hardware. There is a furniture tag on the back that reads: R.J. Horner & Co. Furniture Makers 61-63-65 West 23rd Street. Pat April 5, 1887 is stamped on the brass hinge. Measures 26 1/2″ Wide, 16″ Depth and 41″ Height. Circa 1900.
