All original and working antique regulator clock which has the original advertising showing where this clock was used over the years, and it reads; ‘Fenton B. Fleming – The Jewel Shop – 1211 ‘O’ St.’. Please note that we have papers from the Nebraska State Historical Society that reveal that a Fenton B. Fleming lived in Lincoln, Nebraska and was a jeweler, insurance salesman, and politician he lived from 1883 to 1953. The papers also go on to state that Fenton was a Mayor for the city of Lincoln and also served as president of the Nebraska Jewelers Association.
This clock is complete with the pendulum and winding key and this mahogany cabinet measures 38″ high by 18″ wide and is 5 1/2″ deep. What a remarkable piece and to have this added provenance is an excellent bonus.
