Appliquéd Early Red & Green Cherries Antique Quilt

This is an early appliquéd red and olive green colored quilt that depicts a cherries on the vine design. Notice that this quilt has the humility patch in the lower portion of the quilt. This quilt measures 64″ x 78″, and has 9 to 10 stitches per inch for even and high quality quilting. This quilt one can easily see the old cotton seeds in it when you hold it up to the light. The red is the early very dark red color of fabric helping to date this quilt as well. One can see that this quilt has been loved over the years as someone has old patched repairs on the backside of the quilt. Notice that the cherries are stuffed which raises them for an added attractive feature on this early quilt.
