Chicos Spanish Peanuts Nuts Advertising Country Store Jar

A fine all original example of a country store dispensing jar for Curtiss Chicos Spanish Peanuts. This jar is complete with the metal band around the base and the metal lid with advertising. This piece measures 11 1/4″ high and the base is 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″. Molded into the glass jar on the bottom it reads, ‘Curtiss Candy Co. – Chicago – Mechanical and Design Pats. Pend.’.
