This is an exceptional all original quality example of a cranberry inverted thumbprint pickle castor insert which is highlighted with a detailed and multi-colored Mary Gregory design of a young girl feeding birds. Excellent condition on all the items in this complete set with the holder, pickle tongs, silver plated lid and cranberry glass insert. The holder is signed by the maker Rockford Silverplate Company. This quadruple plated holder #657, is unique with two full figured small foxes or around the lower platform of the holder. This holder measures 11 1/2″ high and the platform is 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″. The insert measures by its self 4 1/2″ high and has a diameter of 3″. This is a beautiful piece of cranberry Mary Gregory, one that you will be sure and want to add to your own personal collection.
