This surveying instrument along with the appropriate wooden legged tripod was made by ‘David White Company’ and is marked as the ‘No. 67143 – Patented – Surveying Instruments & Engineers Field Supplies – Milwaukee’. With the instrument attached to the tripod this set measures 66 1/2″ long and the instrument is approximately 12 1/2″ long. I know that the tripod and instrument are a set as the patina and screwing mechanism work well together, I do not know much regarding the surveying instrument regarding if it is all complete, but it appears that it is.
