Exceptional early salt glaze stoneware crock jug that is decorated with an attractive cobalt blue decoration. The cobalt decoration on this jug has been done in a swirling almost floral type decoration that is very evenly spaced throughout the front of this crock jug. Beautiful cobalt blue color radiates out from this jug. This jug is marked by it’s maker, ‘Edmands & Co. – #2’. This information is stamped impressed into this jug. Excellent all original condition on this early stoneware crock jug. There is two very, very slight hair line cracks in the crock handle of this jug is all that I can note. This jug measures 13 3/4″ high and the diameter on the base is 8 1/2″. This jug is one that you will be proud to add to your own personal early salt glaze stoneware crock collections
