This is the finest in Mary Gregory that we have ever been able to offer, this all original and complete set depicts a Victorian vanity setting, complete with three black glass Mary Gregory decorated jars all decorated with winged cupid fairy type figures and floral garland borders on each jar. Note that the two outer perfume jars are capped with clear glass stoppers and the center ‘powder’ jar has a black cap. The perfumes with stoppers inserted measure 8 3/4″ high and the center powder jar is 7″ high. All three of these pieces are detailed and beautifully done pieces of Mary Gregory. The silver plated holder is made by, ‘Meriden Britannia – Quadruple Plate’ and this is identified in the antique reference book, Mary Gregory Glassware by Robert and Deborah Truitt’ on page 59. This piece measures 21 1/4″ high and is 21 1/2″ wide by 9 3/4″ deep. The beveled oval mirror is 9″ x 6 1/4″ and the detailed candelabra ladies are 17 1/2″ high. Circa 1880- 1890.
