This is a beautiful all original Pittsburgh table lamp that depicts a beautiful detailed reverse painted scene of swans on a lake in a nature setting. Dark rich colors make this lamp beautiful and when one turns on this lamp it truly comes to life. The shade measures 16″ in diameter and the lamp stands approximately 21″ high to the top finial, with the base measuring 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″. This lamp can be found in the antique reference book, ‘Better Electric Lamps of the 20’s and 30’s’, published by L-W Book Sales. On page 85 this lamp was referred to as the S-1478 1/2 Electrolier Decoration B Pittsburgh Lamp. Our lamp matches perfectly the lamp which was depicted in their lamp catalog.
