This poster was folded in forths this has been nicely framed under glass. This original advertising hunting poster for Winchester rifles was copyrighted in 1955 as part of a series of 4 posters for the Olin Mathieson Chemical Corporation; This poster shows a rabbit trying to escape a hunter in the snows of winter. Weimer Pursell was an American artist and graduate from the Chicago Art Institute and was a noted poster artist creating many designs for both the travel and advertising industries. The frame measures 30″ x 43″.
