Q008C  Flower Baskets Appliqued Gold Quilt

The quilting in this all original old antique appliqued floral basket quilt is very fine and even. It measures between 10 to 11 stitches per inch. The gold background color of this quilt is very eye catching especially with the contrasting dark black color used in the handles of the flower baskets. Notice that this black fabric has also been purposely twisted for a rope type affect when the handles were stitched onto the quilt. This quilt came from Clareton County Missouri, and it measures 77" x 89".
