Q010A Appliquéd Floral Design Quilt Blue  & White

This is a larger 79" x 90" appliquéd quilt that has a floral theme done in the softer colors of blues, pinks, whites, and greens. The appliquéd floral design is connected in a wreath pattern and is connected with embroidery work. Notice that the appliquéd pieces are also embroidered around for an extra stylish touch and nice appeal. This quilt has a light blue rectangle pieced into it for a nice color combination and notice that the appliquéd work done on this blue fabric has been done still in the floral theme, however the appliquéd pieces are all white and the embroidery work has been done in a dark blue thread. 
Nice even seven stitches per inch quilting and even embroidery work has been done throughout on this quilt. The scalloped edge makes for a wonderful look when this quilt is spread across a bed. Circa 1920's.
Excellent all original overall condition, there is some small brown age spots, but only normal for a quilt dating to this time period. We have taken close-ups and again I would still call the condition excellent. We guarantee buyer satisfaction also. The blue background fabric in this quilt has a unique unevenness to it's coloring. It appears that with each washing or maybe this quilt was exposed to direct sunlight over the years, that the blue fabric has white areas evenly spaced throughout it. I am not certain as to why this has happened. The strength of the fabric is strong and the blue color is even to me when looking at the quilt overall. So again, I am not certain why this has happened.
This quilt was acquired at an estate auction from West Mooreland County in Ohio.
This is a beautiful large quilt that would be an excellent addition to any fine antique quilt collection. - SOLD
