Q010C  Fan Pieced Antique Quilt

Beautiful all original old antique pieced quilt done in a 'Fan' pattern pieced design. The fan design reminds one of very small gentlemen's ties that are only 3 1/4" long. The fan designs are each highlighted with embroidery work on the top of the pieces of fabric for an added attraction. The quilting in this quilt measures 6 to 7 stitches per inch. Very good all original condition with no holes or tears, there is some brown spots on the quilt, however it would appear that this quilt has never been washed and perhaps these spots would come out, I cannot guarantee but I know that I do not wash antique quilts and would not want to where this quilt has not been washed. Measurements of this quilt are 79" x 78". This quilt contains wonderful old pieces of fabrics throughout the quilt and we would estimate the age of this quilt being from the 1930's. This quilt came from the St. Joe, Missouri area.  - $375.
