Q025B  Colorful Pieced Antique Quilt Small Squares

This is a colorful quilt done in several fabric colors of both dark and light colors of fabric. This quilt has an off white heavier fabric backing. It reminds me of a muslin type material, however I am not the best at knowing fabrics so I could stand corrected. An early fabric for certain though. This quilt measures 64" x 71", and the quilting in this quilt measures 8 stitches per inch, and has been done in a diagonal line. I am not sure of the pattern name for this quilt there is several small squares throughout this quilt and then there is long strips of fabric in between the squares, for a stripe and square design. The small squares measure just a little over 1" squares. Good all original condition on this quilt with no holes or tears. Circa 1910's. This quilt was made by a woman's grandmother in the Mexico, Missouri area. - SOLD
