Q598 Prairie Star or Harvest Sun Antique Quilt

- This is an early 1900's antique patchwork quilt that has excellent old pieces of early fabric in the quilt. The bold and beautiful mustard gold color used throughout the quilt is quick to catch your eye. There is no holes or tears on this 66" x 90" quilt, however the yellow color of this quilt has bled in different places throughout the quilt. I have not tried to do any treatments on this quilt. I have been told that there is different procedures that you can do to treat the colors bleeding, however I have no experience in this. The quilt is a beautiful old quilt with approximately six stitches per inch quilting. You can see the old cotton seeds in this quilt when you look at the quilt to the light from the back side of the quilt. What a great addition to any fine antique quilt collection this quilt would make. - SOLD
