T037A Keystone Packard Railway Exp. Steel Truck 

- Great all original old steel toy truck that was made by, 'Keystone American Railway Express'. On the old radiator there is an original decal emblem that reads; 'Keystone Packard'. Notice that on the sides there is still the words that read, 'American Railway Express', and then on the inside on the passengers side there is another original sticker that you can still read and it reads, 'Keystone - American Railway Express Truck'. A great feature of this truck is that the front two wheels are connected to the steering wheel allowing you to steer the truck. There is two tin doors on the back of the truck and there appears that there would have been a pin or some sort of latch that is missing. There is minimal rust on this old truck that dates to the 1910 - 1915 time period. The tires are marked, 'Keystone Trucks - Hood Balloon Tire' made by Hood Rubber Co. Watertown, Mass.' The tires measure 4 1/2" in diameter. The truck is 26 1/2" long it stands 11 1/2" high and is 8 1/2" wide. What great character this old steel toy truck has! It would be sure to be a great addition to any fine antique toy collection. - SOLD
