T050C  Shell Motor Oil Advertising 1920's Toy Truck

Exceptional all original old heavy pressed steel toy delivery truck that advertises, 'Shell Motor Oil'. This truck is engraved on the bottom with the signature, 'Metal Craft Corp. - St. Louis - Made in U.S.A.'. All four rubber tires with metal rims are marked on the rubber, 'Goodrich - Silvertown'. The truck measures 12" long, 4" wide and 4 1/4" high. Notice that this open stake box delivery truck holds eight drums of Shell Oil products. Each miniature drum measures just 2 1/4" high, and is 1 1/2" diameter. The wordage on the miniature drums varies, there is two drums that read, 'Shell Motor Oil', two more read, 'Shell Tractor Oil', two others, 'Shell Transformer Oil', and the last two read, 'Shell Gas Engine Oil', giving one a total of eight total drums which fills the box of this delivery truck. The condition does show that this toy has been played with, but still very, very good all original condition.
