T074C  Toy Singer Sewing Machine in the Box

Black and Chrome Singer Toy Sewing Machine in the original box. It features the 8 spoke handwheel design and is marked "The Singer Mangf. Co.. These small sewing machines were marketed solely as real sewing machines for girls and were often given away to help imprint the Singer name in the mind of the future sewing machine buyer or young seamstress of tomorrow. Circa approximately 1940's. It is in good used condition and still works. Handle turns easily. The chrome colored parts show some small scratches, and wear. The Singer logo is visible along with the wordage 'Singer' on the opposite side. This is a precious little black Singer toy sewing machine and would be a great addition to any collection. It measures approx. 7" long, 6 1/2" high and 3 1/2" wide. - SOLD
