All original tin wind up toy done in the comic character Mortimer Snerd. Notice that on the backside of this toy it is identified with the wordage that reads, 'Meet my friend - Mortimer Snerd signed Charlie McCarthy'. The toy is also dated, '1939 McCarthy Inc. ' by the Marx Toy Co. Excellent all original working condition on this toy that measures 8 1/2" high and the base measures 2 3/4" wide by 2 1/2" deep.
