T084B  Buddy L Aerial Fire Engine Toy Truck 

What every boy dreamed of playing with, their own fire truck. This marked, 'Buddy L Line' - Quality Toys - Built by Moline Pressed Steel Company - East Moline, Illinois', fire engine toy is in very good all original condition. On the sides of the seat there is the letters, 'C.F.D.' I'm not certain what the letters are the abbreviation for. 'City Fire Department' would be a guess. This aerial truck has a hydraulic mechanism that triggers the ladders upward when the locking lever is released on the side. The steering wheel in the front of the ladder turns and permits you to turn the ladder around in a circular motion. The ladder is an extension ladder and will extend upward for hours of endless imaginary fun as small boys played with this toy. The truck body measures 29" long, 9 1/4" high, and 9" wide. The ladder is 25" long when pulled down to the shortest distance and will extend outward from this length. The toy is in working condition, and again very good all original condition, complete with brass bell. You will not want to miss adding this piece to your own personal antique steel toy collection or fire engine collections. - SOLD
