W001C  Victorian Carved Elk Head Walnut Wall Shelf

This walnut shelf has all the extras going for it, a wonderful subject matter of an elk featured in the very center of the shelf, black ebonized features highlighted throughout the shelf, and textured and engraved designs for an Eastlake carved design. The shelf has limitless possibilities as to where you might display the shelf as it measures only 11 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" deep and 11" high. On the backside of the shelf there is the impressed number, '101'. Good original finish with only minor wear to the finish, all complete as was originally built. Circa 1890's. The shelf is capable of hanging with the two round eye hooks on the back of the shelf. - SOLD
