W008B Calumet Advertising Regulator Wall Clock

This Calumet Advertising clock is all original and still has it's original paper labels. This clock is a Regulator No. #2 and was Manufactured by the 'Sessions Clock Co.' of Forestville, Conn. U.S.A. Notice that this clock has both the minute and hour hands, but this clock also has the calendar gear showing the day of the month.
On the backside of this clock there is an original manufacture label that tells where the clock was made and there is also directions for setting the clock, Running and keeping it in order, and also directions for a striking clock.
On the inside of the clock case there is a second original paper manufacture label some of the information on this label reads;
Important Notice: This clock has been thoroughly tested by skilled workers and if instructions are followed and carried out clock will last a lifetime. The clock will not beat properly unless hung in an absolute upright position. The information continues with directions for setting the clock and keeping it in order as well as directions for a striking clock.
The front of this clock advertises 'Time to Buy Calumet Baking Powder 'Best by Test'. These clocks were originally given to dealers of Calumet baking powder if they ordered or sold 100 pounds of Calumet in their store, by the Calumet Baking Powder Company. This clock would date to the early 1900's.
This clock is complete with it's pendulum and it's winding key. The clock case measures 38 1/2" long, 16 3/4" wide, and is 4 3/4" deep. The face of this clock measures 12" diameter.
This particular clock hung and was used in a store in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The gentleman that knew where this clock was displayed and used said that he purchased this clock from the store's original owners several years back for an outstanding price of only $2.00. Sorry, but he didn't pass this great bargain on to me!!!
This is a great clock that not only is an excellent Regulator clock but has the excellent attraction of being a great piece of advertising as well.
Don't miss adding this great all original and working clock to your own personal antique collection. -  SOLD
