W015C  Old Leather Horse Saddle - Sand Hills Maker

This old saddle is stamped with a mark that reads Newberry maker Alliance, Neb. The saddle has a rich brown color.  This saddle is numbered on the back 3247. The records of Newberry are in the Museum in Alliance. This saddle was made for Doyle Hutchinson of Wheatland, Wyoming  October 10, 1942. The saddle style was called Carver, The seat was 14", the swell was 13" . This saddle was purchased locally on an estate sale of Bob Norton of Lexington, Nebraska.  - Price $975.
