W047C Victorian Photo Album Leather Cover

This all original Victorian photo album comes all complete and it contains several Victorian photos. The start of this album has a poem that reads, 'New Year - New Year dawns with aspect bright May thy cares thro Life be light. May Loves' flowers about thee twine. Bringing thee joy devine.' Inside the book there is two remembrance cards, one is for Catherine Cox and the second for Thomas Cox. Catherine died in 1886 and Thomas in 1892. This photo album came from a lady who lived at Lake Sara, Illinois. This album was from her great grandmother who had lived in the Medford, Oregon area. This album had been packed away in an old trunk, that no one had looked in for several years. The album is covered in a texture burgundy leather covering and on the front is an embossed floral design. This album measures 11" x 9". Good all original condition. - $495.
