W055C Vegetable Cutter Kitchen Primitive Utensil
This is an all original old wooden kitchen utensil that is called, 'The Home Vegetable Slicer' and it has a patent date of 1898. Notice the original paper label on the back of the slicer that gives the complete operating instructions Calawissa, Specialty Mfg. Co. - Calawissa, PA is the company that made this vegetable cutter. The paper label has been secured with tape over the years. This walnut cutter measures 21 1/4" long 4" wide and is 2 1/2" high with the handle extending up another 2".
