W061B Cowboy Art Steer Horns Hat Rack
This is a great Western collectible steer horn hat rack and notice the fun addition of the steer's hoof that has been used below the set of horns. Both the horns and hooves are secured on a wooden plaque. Even the wooden plaque has character with a crude home repair on the backside of the plaque. One could easily redo this repair job, but to me it only adds more character to this piece of Western folk art collectible. A leather strap acts as the holding strip to hang this rack to the wall. At the widest point this rack measures 25" wide from horn tip to horn tip. The horns come out away from the wall approximately 9", and the wooden plaque on the backside measures 10 1/4" x 5 1/4". This rack came from out of an estate in Moberly, Missouri. One could easily replace a felt cover over the center of the horns and top portion of the hoof if you choose, the original pad has faded and worn over the years.
