W144C Oak Watch Cabinet - with old Tins for Springs
This old country store cabinet is all original finish. Made of quarter sawn oak with carved decorative trim and three drawers with brass knobs. The drawers have fancy stencils that read We Use the - Swiss CR - American Mainsprings - L. H. Keller & Co. New York. This fine cabinet measures 15" x 9" and 10 1/4" height. There are 16 original tins mainsprings. The decorative tins read Agents for 43 years the CR trademark Mainsprings for all kinds of American and Swiss Watches. On the side it reads L.H. Keller & Co. This country store watch cabinet came from the collection of the late Ken Wadginski of Hollow Rock, TN. Mr. Wadginski was a decorated, veteran, Marine officer of World War II, Korea and Vietnam before he retired and moved to Hollow Rock some 35 years ago.
