W152B Fairy Soap Advertising Wooden Box
This wooden box was used in a country store to display and dispense, 'Fairbank's Fairy Soap'. Notice on the underneath side of the lid with the paper advertising label a very detailed graphic of a fairy resting on a red rose, and the following wordage, 'Fairbank's Fairy Soap - the Soap of the Century Pure White Floating for the toilet, bath, and fine laundry use'. There is even an artist's signature beside the red rose. The top edges of this box have a brass trim and also are hinged to allow this box to open and close. This country store display box measures 17" wide and 16" deep, and stands approximately 8" high. Around the entire edges of this box there is also this same information for 'Fairbank's Pure White Floating Soap'. 'Fairy'. - SOLD
