W188B  Rosewood English Tea Caddy Mother of Pearl Inlay

Beautiful rosewood with highlights of Mother of Pearl floral decorations cover the front and the lid of this English Tea Caddy. The interior exposes a divided section with interior lids which we have been told is an English tea caddy. The box is raised on all four corners with brass claw ball feet. There is a lock and we do have a key that will turn the lock, however the locking mechanism does not protrude upward when rotating the key to securely lock the caddy. This caddy measures 9 3/4" wide, 6" deep and stands 6 3/4" high. The interior measurements are 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", and each compartment could hold a tea cup that is 2 3/4" high. - $975.
