W209B Ingersoll Watches Adv. Oak Showcase
Slanted glass and oak frame showcase that advertises and will hold Ingersoll Watches. Notice on the glass the gold gilded letters that read, 'Ingersoll - Watches'. The word Ingersoll is not as bright gold as what the word 'Watches' is. Notice on the bottom oak board there is the engraved words that reads, 'See Name Ingersoll on Dial.' This felt covered showcase will display and store twelve watches. The backside of the showcase has an original paper that tells one 'About Ingersoll Watches'. This paper gives detailed information and sales hints for someone trying to sell Ingersoll Watches. The letter is signed by Mr. Ingersoll'. One point of interest is the price of the watches, 'Yankee - $1.00' - 'Eclipse - $1.50' - 'Junior $2.00' - 'Midget $2.00' - 'Universal - $1.25'. The letter encourages the salesman that though Ingersoll watches are not the least in price the quality alone makes them an easy sale. At the highest point this showcase measures 9 1/2" high, it is 9" wide, and 9" deep. If you collect watches and in particular Ingersoll watches this showcase would be a must for your collection.
