W247B Green Velvet Photo Album with Stand

This is a beautiful all original antique photo album and matching stand with small storage drawer. This album is dated on the backside of the stand, 'Patented March 12, 1901'. Around the handle at the top of the back board there is two brass supports attached on the backside that hold the handle secure and there is patent dates on this hardware and it reads, 'Pat. July 2, 1885'. The backboard measures 17 1/2" high to the top of the handle, and 11" wide, the album its self is 11 1/2" x 9", and the storage drawer which also supports the backboard is 8" deep by 7" wide and is 2 1/2" high. Good all original condition and notice all the fancy brass ormolu that decorates this album and stand, along with the mirror in the stand and the beveled mirror on the front of the album. So many extra decorative extras on this album. Inside the album there is several (around 30) old photographs. In the corner of some of the photos there is reference to Canton, & Montrose, South Dakota, and one photo has the information of, 'H. Bulens - Art Studio - Rock Valley, Iowa.' This is a nice all original velour photo album that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal collection. - SOLD
