W251B Acme Corn or Seed Hand Planter

This is an early hand operated seed corn planter. Notice the stenciled information on this planter, 'The Acme - with Pumpkin Seed Attachment - Patented September 11, 1900.' - 'Manufactured by the Potato Implement Co. - Traverse City, Michigan' - 'Trade Mark - Acme - Registered'. This piece measures 34" long and across the handles it measures 9 1/2" wide. What an excellent early primitive hand operated farm tool this is. - SOLD
