W264B   Salesman Sample Walnut Dresser Hi-Boy - 22"

This is an early 1800’s child’s or salesman sample 3 high chest of drawers. There are four drawers total with the top section having two small drawers across the front, and two full-length drawers below. Beautiful walnut wood is quick to catch your eyes with an appealing applied decorative trim that encircles the top two drawers. Note the dovetailed design on the sides of the drawers, along with the decorative backboard across the back of this dresser. This chest of drawers measures 22” high, 20 ½” wide, and 12” deep. What a cute and well-done piece of Americana this piece is. Notice that there are keyholes with locks in each of the four drawers. It is difficult to find these early pieces of children’s furniture and to be able to find one in this excellent original condition makes this one an even better find. - SOLD
