W299A Geo. H. Stahl The Wooden Hen Incubator Salesman Sample
This is a very small yet completely workable chicken incubator that was made by 'The Wooden Hen - Manufactured by Geo. H. Stahl - Patented Quincy, Illinois.' Because of the small size perhaps this incubator was used as a salesman's sample. Very unusual small size, for sure. Notice all the extra details that this little incubator has. The fancy molded trim work around the top edge of the incubator, the dove tailed sides. Shapely little feet that stand 2 3/4" high. The interior pulls out with the porcelain center knob to expose the one drawer. There is the burner on the side, it all appears to be complete, however I have never had to operate an incubator so, if you have any questions, about a part please just ask. The heater unit is the highest point on this incubator and it stands 16" high, the wooden box it's self measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/4" and is 13" high. Again, great small sized incubator with it's original manufacture's label that is truly a great and unusual find! - $1150.
