Antique Cast Iron Side Wheel Steam Ship – Adirondack Pull Toy Ship – 14 3/4″ length

Antique Cast Iron Pull Toy ship that is identified as being the ‘Adirondack’ ship. Notice the raised lettering on either side of the side paddle wheels. This toy measures 14 3/4″ long is 3 3/8″ wide and 5 1/4″high. We have been told that this toy would have been attributed to Wilkins Toy Company for the maker. This ship is a two story with cross beam, smoke stack, cabin and life boat on top, driven by two large wheels in the middle and one offset front wheel giving the boat a rocking motion when pulled. On each side this boat is identified as the ‘Adirondack’. This is a remarkable piece of nautical toys, one that you won’t want to miss adding to your own personal cast iron toy collection.
