This is a fine high-quality piece of C.F. Monroe Wavecrest done in the baroque shell mold and topped with a wonderfully done hinged top that features both a blue and a rich dark red tone that outlines the scrolling floral type design which is then topped with white outlining beads. This hinged box measures 5 1/2″ diameter and 3 1/8″ high. Excellent all original condition, and still having its original silk liner with some wear. This is a beautiful piece of Wavecrest one that you will be sure to want to add to your own personal collection.
