This Flow blue stoneware pitcher we believe is English, but it is unmarked. It is a fine example of early Flow blue glaze with embossed tulips, cat tails, branches and leaves. The luster finish has been applied to the branches, tulips, and leaves. There is some crazing and a small amount of discoloration to the very bottom and on the inside of the pitcher. Neither the crazing or discoloration distracts from the beauty of the piece as you don’t even see the crazing without looking inside or turning the pitcher over. The diameter of this 7″ high pitcher is 5 3/4″ diameter at the widest point. This piece is all original, no repairs, no chips, and no cracks. Guaranteed old and authentic. A stylish and unique piece that would make an excellent addition to any fine collection.
