Antique Forty Inch- Bisque Head – Kestner Number 142 Child Doll – Made in Germany

This is a beautiful 40″ doll that has open & closed eyes. The Kestner doll has a beautiful old bisque head and fur eye lashes however the body is a new body. This is a beautiful 40″ doll that has open & closed original glass eyes with fur eye lashes. The Kestner doll has a beautiful old bisque head with no cracks chips or repairs. However, the body is a new body and has been very well made by a lady in Wisconsin. The dolls clothing is all old and probably belonged to a little girl, approximately a three-year old child. Her shoes are old black leather with old rayon shoestrings. The human hair wig makes the doll a beautiful red head. The wig was on the doll when I purchased her but it is in such good condition that I have a hard time believing it is old. This is such a large doll and her size is a real asset; especially, if you have a pedal car that needs a driver. The mark on the back of her head is as follows: ‘made in Germany 0 ½  18 ½ 142’. This is a great find, you won’t want to miss adding this large doll to your own personal collection.
