What a great set of yard long prints that depict comic type drawings with a baseball flare for the ‘American Game’ which we all enjoy. The first yard long shows six scenes of a young boy and his approach to girls, the six scenes are titled, ‘A Squeeze Play’, ‘Fanned Out’, ‘His Inning’, ‘A Double Play’, ‘A Home Run’, and ‘A Two Bagger’. The last scene shows the young boy with a girl on both of his arms for his Two Bagger. The other corresponding yard long also has six scenes that relate to baseball and it has a humorous take on different baseball terms such as ‘Choosin’ Sides’, ‘The Hope of His Team’, ‘Stealing A Base’, ‘Who Said ‘Out’, ‘A Hot One’, and ‘The Mascot’. Again both of these prints are titled ‘The American Game’. If you enjoy baseball then these would be a must for your baseball antique collection. The prints are both framed with the same size and style of frames that measure 25 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ high. Each of the six scenes in the prints measures 3 1/4″ x 5″ high. These prints are all original, there is some very minor moisture spots on one print, but this does not go onto the drawings. This is a great find, and you will find that when you look at these prints you can’t help but find yourself smiling!
