All original antique metal and glass soda fountain straw dispenser that is marked by its maker, ‘Mfd. By Mosteller Mfg. Company – Chicago – Patent 1910’. Note how the straws are dispensed on either side of the glass storage sectional by turning the wooden knob on the lower ends of the dispenser and the straw is released in the groove that is cut into the wooden cylinder. The straws are supplied into this dispenser on the very top and one simply slides the cover and drops more straws in from the top. This straw dispenser measures 9 1/4″ high and is 11″ wide and 4 3/4″ deep. We were told that this piece came from out of the collection of the late Doctor Mitchell of Salina, Kansas.
