Antique French Cameo Art Glass Vase – Moda – 6 inches diameter

This is a beautiful piece of signed ‘Moda’ cameo frosted art glass vase that is acid cut and highlighted with a painted floral design of enameling. In Blount’s ‘French Cameo Glass’ book on page 128, photo 227, item B, there is a bowl that has the same signature, as my vase does. The signature is given a close up on page 153. #191 signature. This vase has a larger opening of 6″ diameter, and it descends down to a base of 2 3/4″ diameter. The height is 5 3/4″ high. The vase is all original, with no repairs, no cracks, and no chips. This is a beautiful piece of signed cameo art glass that would make an excellent addition to any collection.
