This is a beautiful satin art glass talcum shaker with scrolling floral enameled design. Gold highlights decorate this shaker and notice the fancy scrolling designed metal closure that this shaker is topped off with. The very center of this top has a circle that dispenses the powder. To open the center portion there is a pull out lever that one must slide to reveal this slotted opening. When you open this lever you will see that there is some writing on the top side of the lever. The information reads, ‘Moller’s Pat. Feb. 5th, 1901 G. Silver’. The brass top is threaded onto the vase, and is still easy to screw on and off. This shaker measures 7 1/2″ high, the base has a diameter of 2 1/2″ and the top is 2″ on the art glass portion and just the brass top is 1 1/2″ diameter. This talcum shaker came from the Phyllis Hunt estate auction in Moberly, Missouri. The Hunt family owned the Budweiser Distributorship and the Moberly Plate Co. there in Moberly. –
