All original silver plated plateau mirror that measures 14″ diameter on the top and the bottom is 15 1/2″ diameter. This plateau is marked on the back side, ‘Forbes Silver Company USA’. The base has an attractive criss cross design that raises the plateau off the surface approximately 1 1/2″ high. This plateau is all original there is one small break in the metal around the base, this does not make the plateau weak at all. The silver on the underside of the mirror is coming off in one small spot on this mirror also. This is still a nice piece to use to feature your antique vase or statute on.
