All original hand stitched antique quilt done in a pieced pattern called the Pickle Dish. The colors of lavender and green contrast nicely with the white background color, making the pattern stand out as one looks at this quilt. This quilt measures 78″ by 84″ and the quilting has been done very well measuring approximately 7 to 8 stitches per inch. One can still see the cotton seeds when you look through this quilt so you know that it is an earlier quilt. This quilt was made by a woman who had lived in the Brunswick, Missouri area we were told. Don’t miss adding this well done antique quilt to your own personal antique quilt collection. Good original condition there is one light yellow colored area which we have taken a close up of, and we have not tried to wash this quilt at all, we prefer to leave the quilts in their original condition, and do not try cleaning them.
