Arcade Cast Iron Horse toy Team Drawn Farm Wagon Complete with Driver

This marked Arcade Toys farm set of a horse drawn team of dapple gray horses is all complete with the red farm wagon and driver. Notice that ‘Arcade’ is also on the smaller wheels which rotate under the box of the wagon allowing you to turn the team of horses. ‘Made in U.S.A’ is in raised letters on the underside of the bar between the horses. The exceptional original condition of this toy is remarkable. This toy measures 11″ long is 5 1/2″ high to the top of the driver, and is 3 1/4″ wide. Circa 1940 to 1941. The reference book, ‘Cast Iron Toys, has a toy like this featured on page 90. The book states that this toy came with a painted figure bolted on and nickel plated chains from the horses to the double tree.
