Arts & Crafts Antique Coat Rack Wood with Metal Overlay

This is a unique piece as it is a wooden coat rack which hangs on the wall, however it is covered with a thin metal overlay material which has a silver shine to it. The pegs are wrapped with the metal and then small, very small pins hold the metal covering in place. Notice the unique hand pounded or hammered designs in the metal overlay with small dot type circles and then slanted lines highlighting the backboard. The back has recessed hangers for supporting this coat rack on a wall. The rack measures 30″ long by 4″ high and the coat pegs come out 3 1/2″ deep. This is a unique arts and crafts piece that has been made with lots of care. Take a close look this is a nice piece. –
