Austria Musterschutz Terracotta Wall Plate – Embossed in high relief with figures in an interior scene sitting around a table playing cards, officer gentleman in his uniform visiting with two ladies over the table with a stein, coffee grinder and lots of detail in high relief especially the characters. Generally, in greens and browns. The wall plaque is signed by Johann Maresch, initialed, and numbered 5268. Good condition. The platter measures diameter is 13″; height (base to rim) is 2″. Circa 1900
